As President, Logistic Innovations, Merrill leads the organization with her expertise in meeting service management, execution, strategic audience generation, product design for and marketing of events. With over 15 years of industry experience, she has been an active member of executive teams and has been responsible for the development and/or reorganization of meeting services divisions within public relations, advertising, and educational companies. She has an extensive knowledge base in the medical education/pharmaceutical arena. She has managed the concept, development and execution of high volume lecture bureaus, professional/corporate events, teleconferences, and multimedia programs.

In addition to Merrill's meeting service experience, she also has an operational background in outsourcing, sponsorship, recruitment, and overall process management. Merrill has been instrumental in the development and execution of efficiency and staffing models, resulting in increased productivity and overall success in program development and management.

Merrill's expertise in vendor relations and contract negotiations lends volume- and relationship-based leverage and savings to our clients while providing the best selection and experience-based venues and vendor partner recommendations in the industry. She has also been instrumental in the design and development of high technology database and audio visual product design.

Merrill's "meeting services methodology" and value-added programs have been acknowledged in many industry publications. Merrill's expertise was called on to author an article entitled "The Right Stuff" in Pharmaceutical Executive's Pharma Meetings February 2003 meeting planning supplement. In addition, Merrill has been honored with a 2003 Rising Star Award from the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association.

Jennifer Backes brings over 15 years experience in meeting and event management to Logistic Innovations. Her outstanding record of success in client relations and operational procedures as well as proven ability in both external policy development and troubleshooting is evidenced by her ability to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business.

As a subject matter expert for all procedures, policies, and business operations, Jennifer serves as a key decision-maker for the implementation of Logistic Innovations technology and product development.

Her expertise in process design and staff management facilitates the deployment of our support technology and best practices, ensuring that all employees are trained to maximize the efficiencies of the systems. As a result, Logistic Innovations provides truly outstanding levels of service to all customers.

Jennifer is charged with the development and implementation of new strategic, structural, and operational processes and manages all quality control measures for high-volume Speakers Bureau Series, Strategic Audience Generation, the LOGIC Network and Audio Visual distribution.
